Try to limit your fluid intake. Many experts recommend constantly flushing the kidneys with large amounts of water. Patients who undertake this practise usually deteriorate much quicker as this causes the kidneys much more stress. The kidney diet ensures maximum recovery and nutrition for the kidneys.
Limit your Phosphorus and Potassium intakes. Phosphorus and potassium again should be investigated in each and every food you eat from dairy to cola to nuts. They all place added stress on the kidneys.
